About TB-500

TB-500, also published as TB500, is catalogued here as: Synthetic peptide related to thymosin beta-4. Studied analytically to identify the short thymosin-related fragment; molecular identity matters before comparing wound-model literature. TB-500 is a research material whose name is associated with thymosin beta-4 and with a shorter synthetic peptide containing that protein’s actin-binding domain. Which molecular form a given vial contains is a supplier-specified detail that should be confirmed from documentation rather than inferred from the name. A short thymosin-related peptide studied for its chemical identity. It is distinct from full-length thymosin beta-4.

The relevant literature examines actin-binding thymosin biology in wound-repair models, often in animals with impaired healing, because those models make changes in repair easier to detect.

Analytical work identified Ac-LKKTETQ in one TB-500 product and detected the fragment and metabolites in equine samples. Separately, Philp et al. studied thymosin beta-4 and an actin-binding-domain peptide in mice; that related-molecule study does not establish the identity or effects of a TB-500 vial.

Analytical identity literature: Chromatography and mass spectrometry identified Ac-LKKTETQ in the TB-500 product examined in 2012. This identifies that study sample, not BLOOM’s material or every TB-500 listing.

Analytical identity literature: A separate study detected the fragment and its metabolites in equine samples. An analytical detection study, not evidence of human efficacy; full-length thymosin beta-4 findings cannot be substituted.

PEPTIQ lists TB-500 as a vial in 20 mg, with pack sizes of 1, 3, 5 and 10. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars, and orders ship from Canada by tracked Canadian service.

A lab report for TB-500 is available on request. PEPTIQ does not display a report until it is matched to the exact compound and strength.

Shipped lyophilized (freeze-dried) and stable at room temperature in transit. Store sealed vials in the fridge or freezer on arrival. Once reconstituted, refrigerate. Anything not right? Our guarantee covers it.
